What is your schedule?
My schedule is variable and announced in a post on my Facebook page every Saturday around noon for the following week.
Do we need a deposit to book an appointment?
No, a deposit is not required. However, I am asking for a 24h minimum notice to cancel or move an appointment or a deposit will be required to be able to reschedule.
Do you do 2 for 1?
No, I don't do 2 for 1. However, I offer the following promotion at any time: When getting to piercings, the 2nd procedure of equal or lesser value is at 50% discount.
Can I be pierced if I am under 16?
Some piercings can be done before 16 with the presence of a parent.
Can my aunt, older sister or friend over 18 years be my parental consent?
No, I request the presence of the father, the mother or a legal guardian.
Can I have my breasts pierced if I am under 18 years of age with a parent?
No, breast piercing, just like genital piercing, are reserved for 18 years and older.
Do I have to make an appointment?
An appointment is mandatory at the moment.
What payment method do you accept?
I accept cash, debit/credit transactions with the chip and E-transfers.
What material are your jewelry made of?
I use 316L Surgical Steel Jewelry for lobes and "stretch". I use high quality Titanium and PTFE for all other piercings.
What is 316L Surgical Steel?
It is the highest grade of Stainless Steel, offering high resistance to corrosion.
What is Titanium?
Titanium is a high-grade material, bio-compatible and hypoallergenic. Also, this material is extremely light, so the risks of rejection or migration of the piercing are much lower.
What is PTFE?
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is a high quality, bio-compatible and hypoallergenic plastic alloy. This material is flexible, and some jewelry can also be adjusted.
Do you use a piercing gun?
No, all my piercings are done with needles. This ensures placement accuracy and leaves much less personal injury. In addition, the piercing guns aren't sterilisable.
Do you pierce babies’ ears?
No, I offer lobe piercing starting at 4 years old. Before this age, the customer is not aware of what needs to be done, or not done, for optimal wound healing. In addition, waiting to this age
gives the child's immune system the chance to heal well.
Can I use anesthetic cream before my piercing?
This practice is not recommended because it hardens the skin which would complicate the piercing and leave more important lesions on the body. The wound would be more swollen than usual and
more prone to infections. Also, since the body has not felt the "shock", it will not secrete, or very little, adrenaline and endorphin so the pain would be more lively once the effect of the
cream dissipates. The appointment will be cancel if that type of products has been applied on the area of the piercing.
Can I go swimming with my new piercing?
No, swimming is not recommended with a healing wound. The wound is a door for bacteria that might be present in the water.
Can I give blood after piercing?
According to the Hema-Québec's website, it is possible to donate blood if the piercing is 3 months old or more.
